Alessandro Bianchi is a Professor of Management, a Master Coach and an experienced Trainer. He has a relevant academic background in Business Administration and Industrial Engineering (University of Turin, Italy; New York University, USA). Dr Bianchi has 45 years of practice in Management Consulting and Training throughout the world for firms in various industries (food processing, transportation, banking, clothing, leather goods, telecommunications, and pharmaceuticals). He lectures in three languages in Europe, Asia and the Middle East and is the author of professional manuals and handbooks on various business topics.
Professor Tsiklis’ academic qualifications include a BSc & an MSc in Civil Engineering, an MBA (Finance) and a Doctorate in Business Administration. His professional experience in international business, corporate finance and investment consulting has been acquired in the US, EU, South America and the Middle-East. He has served as the CFO of the EE Group of Companies as well as Team Leader for TACIS, UNDP and the European Agency for Reconstruction projects in Central Asia and Eastern Europe. Professor Tsiklis has taught in a number of educational institutions and has served as the Program Director of the Master of Science in International Finance at Business School Lausanne. Dr. Tsiklis is Swiss and the Managing Director of GenevaConsult, a company active in business consulting.
Dr. Anu Venkateswaran’s educational background includes graduate and terminal degrees in Materials Science & Engineering (Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and Virginia Tech.) and Business Administration (Virginia Tech.). A Professional Certified Marketer (PCM awarded by the American Marketing Association), her academic career spans eighteen years of teaching and research in the USA, at Virginia Tech., Central State University and Wilberforce University, including three years as an administrator at Wilberforce University, as an Academic Area Assessment Co-coordinator, Dean of the Professional Studies Division, and Dean of Faculty. Her professional experience includes positions in Customer Service and Design Engineering at Media One (now Time Warner Cable), and as a National Research Council Senior Research Associate in the Materials Directorate at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Dr. Venkateswaran has taught a variety of courses, from the introductory to the capstone, in Marketing and Management, as well as introductory courses in Cost Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Physics, and Engineering. She received the Wilberforce University Faculty Award in 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013, and the Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) Award for advancing teaching and learning, in 2003. Dr. Venkateswaran has published in refereed journals, conference proceedings, and books, on topics ranging from thermo-mechanical behavior of ceramics and brittle matrix/brittle fiber composites; to advertising and public relations in Malaysia and Indonesia, public relations and religious communication, African American price sensitivity, e-commerce, social entrepreneurship, and risk analysis and disaster management. While at Wilberforce University and Wright Patterson Air Force Base, she was also instrumental in obtaining grant/research funding from the National Research Council, and the Army Research Organization (ARO), serving also as the PI/Program Manager on the latter grant.
Dr. Attila Shelley is a professor and international business consultant with over 30 years of teaching and practical business experience in management consulting, venture capital, various management positions, corporate strategy and financial advisory. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Princeton University, as well as a Master of Business Administration and PhD from Stanford University. He has a career with firms including The Boston Consulting Group, Menlo Investment Partners, HSBC Bank, Bank Julius Baer, Lloyds International Bank, Menlo Enterprise Consulting.
Professor Wilkes’s educational background is a masters degree in Pure Mathematics from Oxford and a masters degree by research in mathematics from Aberdeen. He has a broad range of experience and expertise in academia and business. He has undertaken projects within international environments and is experienced in working in multi-cultural environments. He has lived in Brazil and Saudi Arabia and has worked on consultancy assignments in several countries in Africa and Asia.
He was Professor of Production Engineering at the Post-Graduate School of Engineering (COPPE), Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and has lectured in a variety of universities in UK, Brazil, Switzerland and Russia. He has also provided training in organisations in UK, Slovenia and Nigeria. His main areas of interest are in the quantitative aspects of management including Project Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Quantitative Methods and Statistics.
His business experience includes the running of his own consultancy company which provided services in Operational Research and Information. Multiple projects were managed in UK including planning for the National Health Service and the Post Office. A number of missions were undertaken for UNCTAD in Africa and Asia. Professor Wilkes is able to infuse the experience gained from real-life situations into his lecturing.
Hilde Gustafsson comes from Norway but has been living in Switzerland for the last 15 years. She holds a Master of Business Administration, with the major subjects Communication and Consumer Behavior. Mrs Gustafsson has been lecturing at several international universities for the last 20 years. In her professional life she has among other positions worked as Managing Director for DDB Needham, Norway and as Sales and Customer Relationship Director for IKEA Switzerland. She is running her own consulting company focusing on Marketing Strategies and Innovation. Mrs Gustafsson is the Founder and Managing Director of the international Charity organisation Sisters in Hearts, successfully helping women in poor villages in Mexico to become self-sufficient.
Olivier Naray is an independent strategic advisor in trade & investment promotion and public corporate affairs. Swiss and multilingual (French, German, Swiss-German, English) he has solid experience in multi-stakeholder project management, strategic communications and advocacy. He currently manages projects with a multinational advisory firm active in strategic communications and stakeholder positioning. In addition, Dr. Naray is also an Advisor on the Board of the global digital start-up company Entnest, based in Geneva. Olivier Naray is the Public Affairs representative of Western Switzerland’s ICT sector professionals’ interest group (information and communication technology), which he also represents in the umbrella ICT business association at the federal level. Olivier Naray managed some of the large projects at the International Trade Centre (United Nations and World Trade Organisation) under the Netherlands Trust Fund from 2010 to July 2017, among others in the field of trade and investment promotion of information technology and IT enabled services with focus on SMEs’ internationalisation and export.
Dr Naray is reviewer for a scientific business journal’s editorial board (The International Journal of Diplomacy and Economy). He has published articles and chapters in various scientific peer reviewed journals and books essentially in the field of trade & investment promotion, and commercial diplomacy from a management and marketing perspective (Emerald Insight/Advanced series in Management; The International Trade Journal; The Hague Journal of Diplomacy). Olivier Naray also published professional articles in trade journals (Trade Forum-International Trade Centre, Exchange Magazine, Schweizer Monat). Dr Naray has lectured and led seminars in management and marketing at University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland; he holds a Ph.D. in Management from University of Neuchâtel, an M.A. in International Affairs from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, as well as a M.Sc. in Political Science from University of Geneva.
Called in Switzerland for military service, Mr. Lehner has been the first young director to be appointed at the Head of the French-Swiss Chamber of Commerce to create a subsidiary in Zurich. Then, he went to the international sector, heading a department in an international non-governmental body located in Geneva. After having been selected among 183 candidates to be the operating manager of a private training center, he has been appointed by the government of Geneva to head a University faculty belonging to the new professional universities system. From 2002 on, he has managed a professional association in the computer science business as well as a regional exhibition in this industry. Since September 2002, Mr. Lehner is managing several associations in the computer industry, continues his activity as a freelance translator, which he created in 1991, and teaching in different private universities in Switzerland while training people in different countries.
Mrs. Ruby Bakshi Khurdi has taught wide range of subjects in Sociology, Business, Management, and Fashion. She has a Bachelors degree in Sociology, Education and English Literature from Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow, India. She did her Post Graduation in Business Administration from India, with major specialization in Human Resources Management and minors in Marketing Management. She has received various awards and certificates in academics as well as in organizing varied cultural activities. In India, she became Principal of Mahanagar Girls Inter College at a very young age. Her major responsibilities involved recruitment & selection of faculty and administration of staff of 30 teachers & approximately 700 students. She had also been teaching as a visiting faculty in management institutes on varied topics like Human Resource Management, Advertising & Sales Promotion, Marketing Management and Essentials of Management. Her profile even boasts of a stint of teaching in a Fashion institute, Delhi College of Fashion, International Institute Of Fashion Technology (IIFT) where she gave lectures on General Management, Personality Development and Business Communication. She also led a team of 100 students to attend the International Fashion Summit in Kathmandu, Nepal, on behalf of IIFT. Prof. Bakshi Khurdi served as the Dean of Bachelor of Business Administration at Surval Mont Fleuri Women’s College, Switzerland for almost 11 years. She has been teaching at American Graduate School of Business since 2005. She has taught in other colleges in Vaud Region like Hotel Institute Montreux, European University Geneva, Montreux and Fontanivent. Her teaching focuses on strategy implementation, leadership development, team spirit and quality management. She was instrumental in getting individual program accreditation for her college for which she had to undertake a three-day training workshop at St Louis, USA. She has attended various academic tours with her group of students to Turkey, China, France, Prague and within Switzerland.
Sanja is Founding Partner & Director at AlpRocket, and Principal at S&GA, lecturer and executive coach. Sanja brings to the table a broad business experience from 20 years of corporate career in a Forturne 100 multinational in setting up and managing local market operations, building and leading multicultural organizations and outreaching high level internal and external stakeholders. Most recently she held positions of Managing Director Central Europe South and Vice President Corporate Affairs EEMA region in Philip Morris International. Sanja accompanies C-suite executives in setting and executing robust strategy for growth, developing and leading high performing teams and facilitating a flying-start performance for business leaders in their new role. She collaborates with IMD business school taking a fresh look at the ways corporations deal with ever increasing operational pressures that have a potential to affect their license to operate. Sanja is contributing business cases and papers and co-hosts lectures and frequently participates on international panels treating future of business and regulation. Sanja holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics & International Trade from the University J.J.Strossmayer, Croatia and an MBA from SDA Bocconi, Italy and is fluent in English, French, Croatian and Italian and commands a fair knowledge of German.
Dr Suzanne Rosselet specializes in issues of national/corporate competitiveness, sustainable economic development and strategic investment for global companies. She is a member of the Duke Corporate Educators Network and is a visiting professor/lecturer at EADA Business School, Barcelona; CENTRUM Business School, Lima; Universidad San Francisco, Quito; H.E.C. University of Lausanne and for the Sino-Swiss Management Training Program. Previously, Dr Rosselet was Deputy Director of the World Competitiveness Center at IMD Business School, Lausanne. She received a B.S. in Economics from Stanford University, CA., was a Post-Graduate Fellow at H.E.C. University of Lausanne and holds a doctorate from the Geneva School of Diplomacy. Suzanne is also a graduate of IMD’s Leadership Development Program.
