According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the number of air travelers will balloon to 7.2 billion in 2035, a near doubling of current levels. This trend is supported by the growth of the middle class in China and its impact on domestic travels and the economic rise of the Asia Pacific as an international destination.
AGSB is partnering with two leaders in the aviation field.
PrivatPort is a company backed by Swissport International Ltd, which provides best-in-class airport ground services on behalf of more than 850 client -companies for some 265 million passengers annually in 50 countries.
Second partnership is with Privatair SA, a Swiss airline headquartered at Geneva airport, which operates business jets as well as scheduled services on behalf of major airlines. Besides, the company operates crew and pilot training facilities.
The program aims to prepare students for the management position in the industry. The program will cover themes such as Aviation Economics and Regulations, Issues in the Aviation Industry, Airport Business Management, Airline Finance, and Accounting.
